We embarked on an ambitious project for Cebu Pacific, crafting a an app that changed the way Fuel logs were managed. This app allowed pilots to effortlessly submit their fuel data directly to the server. However, we faced a significant challenge in ensuring that the app seamlessly synchronized with the server as soon as internet service was restored.

To address the unpredictable internet connections experienced at different airports, we purposefully designed the app to function offline. This offline functionality provided pilots with the assurance that they could perform their duties regardless of their internet access.

The fuel uplift log, a critical task performed during pre-flight when the aircraft is fueled up, became the app's primary focus. Its purpose was to log all fuel data into the system, simplifying the auditing process by providing a comprehensive view of fuel expenditure for each flight. This streamlined approach ensured that every detail was properly recorded, allowing for a thorough analysis of fuel consumption.

Once the internet connection is re-established, the app effortlessly synchronizes with the server, ensuring an uninterrupted and smooth user experience. This feature is particularly crucial for pilots who travel worldwide and cannot depend on consistent internet access throughout their journeys.

Regrettably, there came a time when the app's role with the pilots came to an end. It was no longer utilized by the pilots themselves but instead transitioned to the maintenance crews. This change aimed to improve the accuracy and efficiency of logging the fuel uplift log, entrusting the responsibility to those with specialized knowledge in maintenance procedures.
